Mezzo-Soprano Dannielle O’Keefe will perform at 7pm on Tuesday November 21 in round seven of the finals for The Talent. Dannielle will be accompanied by Hanford Lam as they present four works to be broadcast live from the Lady Marigold Southey Performance Studio.
A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Dannielle has gained acclaim for her compelling and emotional performances spanning a broad range of musical genres.
Dannielle has performed on the operatic and concert stage both locally and abroad with the Australian International Opera Company and Lyric Opera of Melbourne. Her recent principal roles include; Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro; La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi and Charlotte (cover) in Werther. Dannielle has also performed with Opera su Presto, Post Opera Company and the Festival of Broadway. Most recently, Dannielle performed for the Australasian Council of Women and Policing Awards evening at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Dannielle is an advocate for the healing power of the voice. Her ongoing aim is to create an emotional connection with all listeners and audience-goers.
