Ann Nguyen

Episode one had another brilliant performance from Ann Nguyen, who performed Rigoletto’s Concert Paraphrase based on Verdi’s opera, Rigoletto, composed by Franz Liszt. She then went on to perform the 4th movement ‘Vivace’ from Sergei Prokofiev’s Sonana No. 6, Op. 82.

Pianist Ann Anh-Thu Nguyen BMus(Melb), FTCL, LMusA, AMusA Ann is a pianist from the Melbourne Conservatorium who performs regularly in concerts, not only as a soloist but also in ensembles. Currently, she is organising concerts in her local community for charity. Over the years Ann has received numerous awards and prizes in Melbourne, Sydney, and greater NSW. Ann has been conferred the AMusA and LMusA diplomas from the Australian Music Examinations Board, as well as the distinguished Fellowship in Piano Performance from the Trinity College of Music, London. At the University of Melbourne, she has been the recipient of two prestigious scholarships: the Francis Quinn Arts Encouragement Award and the DW Gardiner Fund Award.
