Hanford Lam

Time to meet our other performer from Week 3 of The Talent. Hanford Lam is a 3rd Year student at Monash, studying with Tamara Smolyar. Outside of university, he spends his time accompanying and teaching. Recently, he embarked on a tour to China with the Australian International Opera. Hanford says, ‘music opens so many doors for me both professionally and socially and I am delighted to have the piano as my lifelong companion’.

Hanford performed three pieces in his appearance. JS Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in F minor from Book 1, Liszt’s Transcendental Etude ‘Wilde Jagd’, and the first movement from Haydn’s Sonata in F major No. 23.
