Cameron Smith

Cameron is a passionate young musician and clarinettist; He is currently studying Honours in performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with Philip Arkinstall.  As a soloist Cameron won the Regional Section of the Australian Youth Music Competition in 2010 and in the same year was invited to play in Top Class and Top Acts for his VCE Recital. His awards at MCM include the Bebbington Prize for best Woodwind Recital.  He relishes the chance to collaborate with likeminded peers and is passionate about performing chamber music, with awards including winning the MCM Chamber Music Competition in his First year and as a finalist in the ANAM Chamber Music Competition (2014). He is excited by future musical endeavours including participating in AISOI in this December.
