Elizabeth Potter – Mezzo Soprano

Mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Potter is a vibrant and passionate classical vocalist with a keen interest in opera. Elizabeth’s warm, rich tone paired with a captivating stage presence has seen her perform across a wide range of styles and performances.
Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) in 2018, majoring in classical voice performance. In 2019 she continues her studies with an honours year in performance at the MCM.
Her involvement with the MCM vocal faculty performances has seen her perform at such venues as St Paul’s Cathedral and Abbotsford Convent. Particular performance highlights include playing the role of Cherubino in scenes of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro (2017), and Sister Valentine in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmélites (2018).
In February 2019, Elizabeth performed in Victorian Opera’s new production of Wagner’s Parsifal as a chorus flower maiden. Most recently she performed the role of Lady Jane in Savoy Opera Company’s Patience or Bunthorne’s Bride in May/June 2019.
