Tonight on In Performance, we’re continuing the Young Performer Summer Series with a performance by flautist Gabriella Alberti with pianist Leigh Harrold. They’ll be presenting a gorgeous programme of flute repertoire by Dutilleux, Le Gallienne, and Karg-Elert.

Gabriella Alberti is a Melbourne-based flutist who recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music degree. It was at the Conservatorium where she cultivated her adoration for ensemble playing, partaking in the University of Melbourne Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras. Her solo career highlights include her 2019 performance in Series 2 of The Talent at 3MBS radio, alongside her 2016 performance at the Melbourne Recital Centre as part of the Top Class Music showcase. In addition to performing, Gabriella is also passionate about teaching flute and piano to primary school students and children with learning disabilities.
