It’s Week 2 of the Young Performer Summer Series! This week, rising star guitarist Clancy McLeod will perform works which will take us from 18th century Germany to 20th Spain via Paraguay.

Performer Bio

Clancy has participated in Guitar Competitions around the world, recently winning a prize in the (2021) Adelaide International Guitar Competition. He was also awarded 2nd prize in the national Great Romantics Competition in 2021. He placed in the top three of the London Strings Competition, and second in the 3MBS The Talent competition in 2018. Clancy has a Bachelor of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of  Music and has also studied at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Clancy has demonstrated himself to be a guitarist of the highest calibre and a “captivating, expressive and very musical” performer. (London Strings Festival).
