
This week on the Young Performer Summer Series is soprano Teresa Ingrilli!
Perth born and raised, Teresa Ingrilli is a soprano based in Melbourne. This year, Teresa is an emerging artist for Melbourne Opera’s Richard Divall Emerging Artist Program, a chorus member for Victorian Opera, a semi-finalist for the Sydney Eisteddfod (which closed due to the pandemic) and Herald Sun Aria.
Teresa is a co-founder of Balcony Opera, created during the 2020 Victorian lockdowns. Balcony opera appeared in The Age, Channel 7’s Weekend Sunrise, ABC Radio Melbourne and on BBC Proms – A night at the Opera.
She graduated from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with a Masters of Music (Opera Performance) and Graduate Diploma in Music (Practical Music).
