Our next guest mentor for Episode 3 is flautist Melissa Doeke!

Creativity, diversity and communicating a love of music are at the core of Melissa Doecke’s artistic practise as a flute soloist, chamber musician and Co-Artistic Director of Inventi Ensemble. Her many achievements include being awarded the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Contemporary Masters Award, being a finalist in the Australian Young Performer Awards, performing at the BBC Proms amongst other international recitals and performances. Melissa is in demand as a chamber musician, orchestral player, mentor, teacher and collaborator. Her catalogue of recordings is growing, including solo flute album releases as well as Inventi Ensemble’s recent albums. Upcoming performances include touring regional VIC with Inventi Ensemble followed by performances in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
